A Paris airport authority official said Merhan Karimi Nasseri died of a heart attack around midday in Terminal 2F.

Based on French media reports, Karimi Nasseri lived in Terminal 1 of the airport from 1988 to 2006, first without residency papers and later of his own free will.

In recent weeks, the airport official reported, he lived at the airport again.
