After eight months of rehab, actor Vijay Deverakonda has recovered from an injury.
According to reports, the actor suffered the injury while filming his last Bollywood film, Liger.
As an MMA fighter, Vijay appeared in several intense action sequences in the movie, which also featured an extended cameo by boxing legend Mike Tyson.
For the role of the boxer in the film, Vijay had undergone extensive training and workouts.
A shoulder injury occurred during filming.
Now that Vijay Deverakonda is fully recovered, he can return to work.
He shared an update about his recovery on his Instagram page recently.
On his Instagram story, Vijay Deverakonda wrote, “Work hard and outwork everyone.”.
Ahead of the release of his latest film, Liger, Vijay recently spoke with us exclusively about how he coped with its failure and the criticisms it received.
It’s hard for me to say if I handled things with grace, but I just dealt with them the way I figured they would be handled,” Vijay said.
